i was just wondering if anyone knows if the int students or the pre season varsity athletes are allowed to ship stuff before sept 2nd. I read somewhere that 09 are allowed to ship stuff to dartmouth until sept 2nd but for us that have to be there before i was wondering if we can send stuff before or if they will actually send it back

We are also sending early because D moves in on Sept.4th , Sunday. She will pick her stuff up the next business day (september 6).

Since international orientation begins on September 4 and you actually arrive on campus september 2 you should have no problem if your stuff arrives before September 2. Just pick it up asap, because after 15 days the school will ship it back.

You should address your stuff to yourself,
c/o Hinman Box #
Dartmouth College
Hanover, New Hampshire 03755 (plus four-digit number that will be given to them).

Shipment may be made by U.S. mail or by a shipping company such as Airborne, United Parcel Service, or Federal Express, so long as the shipment meets the companies' limits on the size and weight of packages that can be handled. If the company requests a "street address" for delivery, add the following information to the address: Hinman Post Office, Hopkins Center, Lebanon & Wheelock Streets.

When you arrive on campus you will get your room key and your mailbox combination. When you check your mailbox (mail room is in the hopkins center) you will see slips in your box letting you know that you have packages.

Make sure that you do send it in enough time that you are able to track your stuff to make sure that it did arrive at the school. The phone # at the post office is 603-646-2824
