So I have a few things that I would really not like to drag on a plane with me - such as the comforter I bought here in CA, or the printer that came free with my new computer, etc. Anyway, I was just wondering if there's some way to ship my stuff ahead of time so that it's waiting for me when I get there? Obviously, it wouldn't be a big deal to get my printer later, but if I ship bedding, I would want to make sure it's there when I'm there! Can I just send stuff to my dorms, using my SMC? Or is there some issue with that? Thanks!

Send it to this address:

Your name
Carnegie Mellon University, SMC ####
Pittsburgh, PA 15289

It will show up in the mail center. They will email your Andrew account when it arrives and you will get a “Package Pickup” message :)

Okay, thank you so much!

The mail room is open on Sunday (that one time only ) and will loan out carts that day for you to move things effortlessly from the UC to your dorm – very handy. There were tons of kids from overseas dragging steamer trunks around on dollies…

If your new printer has not yet arrived, have the company ship that for you straight to CMU as well.

Yay! Orientation is coming up so soon. I’m sooo stoked!

There’s also trollies you can get from Morewood Gardens.
