Short answer help please!!!

So Im not sure if i addressed the prompt right. I would really appreciate it if you could read it over and give me some feed back!

This is the prompt

Describe your academic interests and how you plan to pursue them at USC. Please feel free to address your first- and second-choice major selections.

and here is my response

My list of academic interest could go on for ages. I love learning as much as possible about most subjects, but of all the subjects I enjoy art the most. With my art I aim towards creating a visual experience that leave a person wondering. I believe that USC would provide me with the tools needed to establish a career, in which I could explore my intellectual curiosities, while also fulling my creative desires. I hope to pursue a career that combines the use of intellectual knowledge with visual arts. Impassioned courses, offered by USC, such as design and and marketing will equip me with the knowledge and experience necessary to achieve my educational goals. Personally one of the most appealing aspects of USC is the fact that the school helps connects its student with extremely impressive internships. I feel that the real world work experience, provided by internships will only set students up for success. I am confident that USC will provide a foundation for a lifetime of prosperity.

It’s a reasonable response to the question (although the “I love learning” cliche in the beginning should probably have been cut). A bit generic maybe-but probably no different from the level of specificity given by most applicants, I’m guessing. Not something to lose sleep over, in any case, since it’s already submitted.

I agree with M’s Mom. Your response is perfectly adequate but you would have been better served by adding more specificity, discussing specific classes, internships, and programs along with a more detailed explanation of your interest in art. This answer may not make you stand out, but as long as the rest of your application is well done I definitely don’t think this response will hurt you. I’m sure they get plenty of great applications with similar sounding responses.
