I know both types of studying are important, but seeing as I have limited time, I would like to know which you think is more effective.

I am a high school junior. I have taken the SAT once (March). I got a 2110. My math score was a 630, my lowest subscore. I would like to raise it to 700+ to get a total of around 2200. I only have one more time to take SAT before ED deadlines (October).

I am planning to study as much as I can over the summer. My method for studying for math last time was just studying the math review sections of the Barron's book. I am not good at math. I don't think I absorbed it all (memorizing formulas, learning how to solve the different types of problems, etc.). I only took one practice test.

So what do you think I focus on more over the summer? I'm guessing I'll have about two hours a day to study just math. Thanks :)

Okay…I hear Gruber’s being recommended a lot on CC so I guess I’ll check it out. What does it have that Barron’s doesn’t? I mean, does it have tons of rules or tips or what?

i used 5 Sat math practice test and i went from 610 to 730. the book are practice test only on math and it was very useful, also the answer explanation is easily to understand and short as well.

I started at 630 on my sophomore PSAT without studying.

Skimmed Grubers to review concepts, then did BB tests. Scored a 770 in March Go over your wrong answers thoroughly, and make sure you understand the concepts behind them. I was really rusty on Algebra and Geometry, and reviewing concepts helped me a lot.

@thrill3rnit3, i am not sure about their website but i know their book is real, i will try to find any information i can about the website and update it here
