Should I add on ECs junior year?

hey CC.

I am in the second semester of my junior year. I am content with my extracurriculars; they are unusual, challenging, and I make my mark where I work.

There is a club outside of school that I am interested in joining, as it pertains to my work in developing leadership. Among its international chapters, it counts Walt Disney and Bill Clinton as alumni. Its mission is to develop young men's intellectual and leadership capabilities, it is sponsored by the Freemasons.

I contacted my local chapter, and they meet at times that would fit into my weekday schedules. They seem happy to have me applying.

If I were to be inducted into this club, this late in the high school career, would it be worth listing on the college app?
By no means am I joining for the college app. But, I would be starting out late, much later than my other activities; then again, I can tie it in my theme of economics and political science.

If you have the time, then do it. It seems like it will be a good experience, but I believe that if you have doubts about it, then your just worrying about your college apps. You are given this opportunity, but you second guess yourself because your starting late. So anyway, its up to you to decide at the end.

P.S: “advice is something that we usually already know, but just need to hear it.”

Just do it.
