Should I apply ED with a 6.0/7.0 GPA or do well senior year to raise it for RD?

<p>Here's the case</p>

<p>I have a 6.0/7.0</p>

<p>However, if i do as well as i'm expecting for senior year, I would have a 6.4/7.0</p>

<p>Should I wait til RD and just apply then with that</p>

<p>Because right now I'm only somewhere within the top 20%</p>

<p>but if i do well senior year</p>

<p>I break into the top 10%</p>

<p>If your GPA is the main reason you are not admitted ED and you already show a good upward trend, then they will likely defer your decision till the RD round and see your updated GPA (assuming they defer and don’t have a straight admit/reject ED decisions). If the college rejects you outright, chances are a slightly increased GPA was not going to help you too much.</p>
