Should I apply to two colleges at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign?

I’m a second semester freshmen applying as a transfer student to U of I

The application says that you can choose two different colleges for the consideration of admission.

I chose the college of general studies because my major is undecided, I wrote a bomb ass paper for that too but I also chose the college of psychology.

Does it decrease my chances applying to both colleges? Should I only apply to one? Should I apply to both? Gracias

I don’t think that it should decrease your chances at all

Your second college only gets looked at if you’re rejected from your first. If rejected for both, you’re considered for DGS. Though you can just put general studies as your second choice.
