This fall, I'm signed up for a combination linear algebra/discrete math class. It's combination-enrollment; you can't pick one or the other. I've also tested out of the first two semesters of calc. The problem is, I only got a 3 on my BC Calc AP to do so and almost everyone else in the class got a 4 or a 5. This was after a year of getting mostly A's and B's on the tests, uncurved, but my teacher doesn't have the best reputation.

Assuming that being solid enough on calc specifically isn't an issue, should I be worried that the math class will be too hard for me? I'm learning discrete math and linear algebra from books beforehand, and I've done some practice problems so far, but tell me if you think the possibility that I'm really not that good at math will outweigh any such preparation.
