Should i be worried????

I applied for NYU CAS RD and havent gotten an invite yet. I know alot of kids that have already gotten their invites and I am getting nervous. Also, looking at the stats thread for NYU CAS already accepted it seems like the stats are astronomically high..everyone has atleast a 2000+ and 3.7+. Do you guys think this is a gimmick to entice the upper stratification of the accepted pool?? Anyways when do you think we should know by and is there any hope??

High 2000/low 2100s and 3.7+ are average stats for CAS, it’s not astronomically high…

yea you are right… it just seems that everyone has like a perfect resume…i havent seen or heard from anyone that doesnt have a really high gpa or really high sat scores. Do you think nyu is sending out the acceptances to the smarter kids in the acceptance pool as a ploy to entice them?? I have a 1970 and 3.5 gpa with 9 APs and amazing extracurriculars and essay…do you think i shud even hope at this point…also have they sent out rejections?

hey bimachris, do you know the average stats for Steinhardt?
