Okay, so I'm def. not a math person, but my parents forced me to take the Math II last june, and I ended up with like a 620. Then they wanted me to retake it this Dec, which I did. I ommitted 10 problems, and I KNOW i prob missed a bunch as well (maybe around 8? I'm not sure... I've been missing that many on practice tests) --i did study a bunch, but as usual, I ran out of time+ was really freaking out.
I'll be taking the Lit test in January. All my other subject scores are pretty good (Chinese 800, USH 780) and I'm worried that if I did worse on my retake that'll look even worse than just taking the MathII once and getting a bad score... So should I cancel or not cancel? I need to decide now, so replies are greatly appreciated!!!
Also, I'm def. not going to be a math/science major. I'm a senior, btw.

If you're 100% confident you can get 700+ on Lit next month, I say cancel it. Since you seem to be a humanities person, you'll be fine ;)

The only thing is that certain schools require a math subject test (are you applying to Princeton?).

It won't look bad. Don't cancel it unless you would take an extreme self-esteem hit to see bad scores. You might have done a lot better than you thought.

No, I'm not applying to Princeton.

UGH. Well, hopefully I did well. Apparently the curve is better this time?? What could i get with 10 blank and 8 wrong ?? crosses fingers I guess I'll just stick it out, though I hope i didn't do worse than before!

10 blank and 8 wrong would be a raw score of 30/50. I would say a 650-670, but I'm no expert.

okay, thanks!!!
