ok so i already dropped a class bc i had zero interest in it. Now im thinking of dropping another class because that would probably be the lowest of grades i would get and it would avoid me from getting put on probation again. The problem is that in my withdrawl letter i was gonna say that i hated the major, wasnt the right fit, but the class that i am thinking of dropping is a course that every person that in the major needs to take so would they be doubtful because i basically said i hated the major and i gave up on the class before dropping out? if i switched to another major unrelated to that class would that be better? its just those two classes because the other gen ed classes actually interest me so im gonna pass those
It doesn’t matter what you say in your withdrawal letter. When you withdraw, no one will care if you love your classes or not.
really? i mean i loved the class and wanted to take more classes in the major i wouldn’t drop out
Make sure you’re carrying enough credits to maintain your scholarship or FA.
You aren’t going to be able to drop every class that you don’t like or don’t feel like you are doing well in, and you aren’t going to be able to change your major too many times and actually finish a degree. There is a lot to be learned by toughing some things out. Go to office hours, get some academic assistance from the academic support center. Take a different approach
