Hello! I have a really urgent question: Should I drop AP Stats in my second semester of my senior year? Is it better to drop it or continue the class and possibly risk getting a F on my transcript?
Honestly, I lost interest in the class in the middle of the first semester. I should’ve dropped it beforehand… As a result, I failed my stats final, so my final grade won’t look too good. I don’t really want to continue taking AP Stats because one, I absolutely hate my stats teacher; she has an attitude, rarely lectures, and just assigns homework and two, it’s putting a lot of stress on me. Math isn’t my best subject either.
My schedule this year is: AP Physics 1, AP Lang, AP Stats, Media Production, Am. Government, and Art. If I were to drop AP Stats, it’d lessen my stress. It’ll also allow me to unwind and I’ll be able focus on treating my depression because that’s one of my priorities right now.
If I were to drop AP Stats, first time dropping a class ever, will it risk my chances of getting accepted to colleges? I applied to CSU Sacramento, CSU East Bay, and San Francisco State University. I already got accepted to CSUEB, but I’m worried that they’ll rescind my acceptance and the other two colleges might reject me. I’ve completed four years of math already (Alg 1 & 2, Geometry, and Pre-Cal).
Please help me, thank you!!
