Should I drop this ap class?

<p>NEED INPUT RIGHT AWAY!</p>

<p>So I'm currently a junio with 3 ap classes, and with my school's first semester about to end in a few days, I was thinking of dropping ap comp for regular american lit (there's no honors courses in lit or hist for juniors or seniors at my hs).
I originally took the class so I could improve my writing skills; however, I personally think this class has caused so much stress for me; I got a C for first quarter and a D+ for second, and got a D- on my semester exam, resulting to a D+ for the semester. I know those aren't the most beautiful grades; I'm surprised as well because I usually get A's. I don't want to drop.the class only because my gpa will suffer; I just personally think I shouldn't take this class because I striggle with the timed essays and analyzing for rhetorical strategies...
I really need your guys' imputs immediately because the semester ends in 2 days!</p>
