I'm in English Honors and it is insanely hard. Only like three people got an A last semester. I don't think I can get an A and I was considering dropping. Would it look better on your transcript to get a B in English H or an A in regular English?

B in English H.

Seriously, stick with honors. If it’s anything like the way my teacher ran it, it’s your first introduction to college-style English classes (seminar style, basically), and that’s invaluable.

Depends if your other classes are advanced or not.
If they are, and you just suck at english (weird that it’s hard at your school, english is the joke department at my school) then just drop it really doesn’t matter.
But if H english is your only honors/AP class, or you only have 1 other, KEEP IT. You need at least some advanced classes to even get into a below-average state school.

Short answer: No.
Long answer: Colleges like to see that you at least challenged yourself. They’d much rather see that you sucked it up and got a B in honors English than breezed your way through regular English with an A.
