Hi! I already asked my math teacher for a letter of recommendation on Thursday and she said she would be glad to write it. I gave her a resume and a list of schools I'm applying to. However, I just finished editing a kickass personal statement essay. It has a reference to sine graphs in it :D Anyways, I'm wondering whether I should give my teacher my personal statement. I would for three reasons:

I was kind of quiet in her class. I got an A in the class and a 4 on the AP test. I want to show her a side of me that I show in my essay and might help her write the letter of recommendation.

It might end up in a better recommendation.

I want to impress her.

I don't want to seem overbearing by giving her my personal statement or seem narcissistic. But on the other hand, it might help both of us. Any advice? Or suggestions on how to give the personal statement to her (without seeming overbearing)? Thank you!
