Should I give up on University of Michigan?..

Hey guys,
I know I am a bit late for applying, but I am still submitting the application today. (transfer applicant)

The problem is the materials that are supposed to send to them by coming Monday (Feb 1).
The counselors at my college told me that I only need to send the online application (common app) by the deadline, and I can take times to send other materials (such as college report, transcript). So, I was kind of relieved and took my time to do it. However, since I am an international student, getting high school transcript and other post-secondary school transcript takes times (+ they normally cannot understand English and the process, so I needed to translate everything and explained everything so it took more time than I expected), my materials cannot be there by the deadline, but will be there in a week.

Can I still give a shot? Or just say “good bye” to UoM.

If you can afford the application fee, then give it a shot. Worst case, try again in the fall for the winter semester, and remember to apply well before the deadline.

Thank you! I gave it a shot. Even though it is still not “completed” status… I would just wait for it ! :slight_smile:
