I didn't do as well as I had hope to on my June SAT test.

Reading: 680
Math: 610
Writing: 640

I plan on applying to several universities (top 30) as a transfer student next spring with approximately 50 credits. (from a community college)

Should I add my SAT score on my application? Or withold it? I'm worried that my less than superb SAT score might reflect poorly on my application.

I'm a non-traditional student (25) with several years of solid working experience.

what are your college stats?

College Credits ~ 50
College GPA ~ 3.8

why r u worried? ivy?

I'm applying to the following schools:

UVA
UPENN GS
COLUMBIA GS

I'm confused...don't you have to submit SATs as a transfer to those schools?

as a non-traditional student (i.e. out of high school for several years) you do not have to submit SAT scores.

Can anyone else please give some input here? Will a subpar SAT score hurt or help my application as a transfer student?

after about 40 credits, colleges won't weigh SATs in very heavily....what state do you live in?

virginia - instate

I am UC transfer hopeful, and no i am not showing my SAT scores. mostly b/c they are not that impressive.

highschoolda, what are your SAT scores?

I graduated a year ago, so i took the "original SAT" out of 1600, got around 1200. I was just really horrible at the test, making silly mistakes. Also i am not good at taking a test for 3 straight hrs.

The scores did get me into UCSD, UCSB, UCI, and UCR.... COuldn't afford to go to those places, so i ended up going to my CC. :( Have finished one year w/ 42 units/

Anyhow that my boring life. :)
