On the June SAT, I scored 2020 (CR: 560, M: 700, W: 760, Essay:12)
Should I retake the October one? Or should I take the Subject Tests instead?
I have taken the SAT 3 times already and I believe I can break the 2150+.

So should I?

Statistically, taking the SAT more than 3 times won’t boost your scores much higher,
but if you’re really confident about breaking 2150+, go ahead!
It depends on what college you want to apply to, though.
Most Ivy League universities require SAT plus 2 subject tests,
so if you’re applying to Ivy League and didn’t take subject tests yet,
I would suggest taking that instead of the regular SAT.
You can take up to 3 subject tests in 1 day.

It looks bad if you take it again because it’ll be sat inflation

Thank you for your replies @at0312 @happydolphin . No, I don’t apply to any Ivies, just small LACs (St. Olaf, Denison, Providence,…) but need a lot of aids. Would that 560 CR kill me? Currently that is my biggest gap.
What I worry most is colleges don’t even consider the writing portion, which would leave me 1260 (CR+M) unacceptably bad…

I think with that 560CR you should retake it but only if you feel that you are better prepared. What is the cause of low CR score? is it the vocab or are you getting lost in long passages? Improve your vocab and learn to use the words in sentences, practice reading. October is a long way, I would say just practice with one passage a day and do like 10 vocab words. Should take you like 30 minutes and you can dedicate rest of the time to Subject tests and prepare a little bit for the other 2 sections of SAT as well.

Take subject tests

@sanwal actually the problem was not the passages or vocab. It was because of the bubble-filling problem.

Btw most of my schools have score choice. So would they know how many times I took if I wont send them all scores?

if it was just bubble-filling this time than what was your CR score the first 2 times?
Anyways if now you are ready and bubble-filling is the issue, practice that. Take CR section only practice tests and bubble fill under same clock, actually give yourself 5 minutes less for practice.
