So I just took the March SAT, this is my first time, and I probably did not do as well as I had hoped.
I was going to take it in May but I literally have 3 AP tests the week after so I’m a bit wary right now and June I have SAT subjects to take.
I think I scored around the 2200-2300 range. It’s kind of an awkward score because at that point, I know most of the stuff and I feel like it’s mostly about test-day performance and I felt like I just wasn’t prepared.
Should I just take it seeing that I am fresh off a test? I think I just made some dumb mistakes but I can’t predict if I am going to make dumb mistakes in the future. (Ex: Missing like 5 in Math during the May SAT when I think I got a 800 this time.)
My AP’s aren’t exactly the hardest, I’ll be studying for Calc BC, Physics 1, World History, and Computer Science.
I just want your feedback and see if I should retake it in May. If I don’t register soon my local testing center will be full.
For anyone that took the SAT, I really struggled on the Franklin Passage (because of the double passage and long passage in one section, I had never encountered that before) and the Creativity Passage (Some dumb mistakes, and still a divisive question that nobody knows).
I just always have those kinds of feelings when I know what I got wrong and know that it was a dumb mistake and I feel like I can get an 800, until the next test comes and I don’t do well again.
Thanks!
