Should I retake Literature?

<p>I got a 750 on Literature. I'm thinking I probably won't retake it, but I didn't leave any blank, so I think it was just that odds were against me.</p>

<p>no do not. 750 is a great score for lit and its really a random test. you can get a 600 or a 750 merely depending on whether you get the passages they throw at you.</p>

<p>I hate people who ask if they should retake a 750...I mean are you a moron, a nerd, an overachiever or what... Its obviously a great score (good enough for anything) so your either bragging or being an idiot.</p>

<p>no. that's like, what, 95th percentile? sheesh. in the time you were retaking it or studying for it again, you could be doing 23094832904832 number of more productive things to learn, grow as a person, save the world, etc etc</p>

<p>bescraze is completely right, we need to be blunt about this to some people. People on this site are so ridiculous sometimes. Should I retake a 780? I got a 36 composite on the ACT but I got a 35 on reading and a 36 on everything else, should I retake? It's borderline insane.</p>

<p>i got a 750 too and i know what you mean about retaking it, not that i was ever considering it myself.</p>

<p>but people are right, there are more productive things you could be doing. and wouldn't you just feel dumb if you ended up getting less than 750 the second time you took it (which definitely IS a possibility given the randomness of the test).</p>

<p>It depends. A 750 on the SAT I or 750 in Lit are amazing scores (thus you shouldnt retake). However, a 750 in Math II isn't that good, since the percentile is barely over 70%.
But yeah. It's r<em>t</em>rd*d to see people asking if they should retake a 2300 to see if they can get a 2400..</p>
