Should I retake SAT I?

I've taken the SAT once and I scored 800 CR, 600 M, and 700 WR. I really want to bring my Math score up, but I'm afraid my CR score would take a nose dive. Also, I'm afraid my math score might even drop because I'm terrible at it. Do you think I should retake, try the ACT, or just let it go?

Also, if I did retake the SAT, which is the best book for improving the math section specifically?

I'd say retake and try the ACT. ACT math is much more straighforward.

I don't know about the math section book.

Don't be afraid about your math score dropping. The chance of moving up from a 600 is good and with a little more confidence during the test it can probably go up to at least 650.
I doubt that your CR would take a nosedive since an 800 shows that you know your stuff. Nonetheless, scoring perfect again is difficult. Check the policies of the colleges you're looking into; they probably will superscore anyway.

Either way, give the ACT a try too.

Thanks! I feel better now.
