should i retake sat iis?

hey all. i'm hoping to transfer next year to a school that offers both an elementary education/secondary education program for next year (i'm currently a freshman at colby college, which only has elementary education. plus, i'm not that crazy about it anyway...). so far, i'm planning on applying to uva, william and mary, and the college of new jersey (i'm a native nj'er...so i think i'm fine on that end). there might be some other schools thrown in there too at some point. so anyway, after first semester (i still haven't gotten all my grades yet), i'm 99% sure i've got three solid a's and a not so hot econ grade (i seriously am the most inept econ person ever, and of course i happen to have the hardest teacher ever too...i will probably be getting a b- or even a c). in high school, i was in the top 10% (my school didn't rank...we weren't allowed to know anymore than the percentile. i went to the top public school in the state though) and i had like a 3.7 unweighted, 4.4 weighted. i got a 1410 on the sats (730v, 680m) and did very badly on the sat iis...(680 writing...i accidentally skipped over 10 of the multiple choice questions, and 700 math ic). i had a ton of ec's and was the captain of the xc/track teams, but then again, these days it seems like so was everyone else...so, in an attempt to make myself more appealing for transfer, particularly given the fact that my poor performance in econ is already going to kill me, should i retake the sats, sat iis, or consider the act? or is it to far after the fact, given that these tests are really a barometer of performance at the high school level? i really want to do something to make my chances better. with the exception of tcnj, i probably don't stand a chance at schools like uva or w&m as an out of stater with a ****ty econ grade. somebody help please!

oh my gosh, don't worry!! your gpa will still be above a 3.5, you're totally competitive from high school, and your SAT 2 scores really aren't that bad, and SAT 1 are right in William and Mary's range. If you like southern schools with education programs you should also look at UNC-Chapel Hill, it's one of the best state schools in the country, right up there with U Mich and UVA. Good luck!!
And enjoy Waterville while you can- did you know they filmed 'Wet Hot American Summer' up there? (if you haven't seen it, you should, it's a Jeanine Garafalo movie about an 80s summer camp filmed in Maine, it was a total cult classic at my high school, and maybe it'll make you appreciate W-Ville a little more!)

thanks for the advice! i just can't help but worry!

oh, and everyone on campus tlaks about "Wet Hot American Summer"...i didn't realize that it was filmed in waterville! crazy...
