<p>Hi I am a international student and a freshmen at penn state university I had really rigorous courses in high school and my GPA should be 4.00 if converted to American grading system.But my SAT score is 1980 it was the first time I took sat and I didn't have enough time to take it again. I am hoping to transfer to UPenn so should I take SAT again in my freshmen year?
Are SAT scores too important for junior transfer students or should I concentrate on my college grades</p>
<p>Yeah, dude you are exactly right. If you are transferring colleges, SAT and highschool grades mean absolutely nothing. Once you have college grades, that will be it. I am very sure that how transferring works in every college in US.
PS if you are indian, focus on grades and make sure you become a doctor/engineer/lawyer. GL</p>
