This issue is more complicated than I originally thought it would be...
I got a 2350 combined score on my SAT, which is great...but wait...I got a 750 in math, which is usually my best section (I think I just made some minor mistakes and the lack of a curve killed me). Also, I want to get into a good engineering school, and the average math scores there are like 760+.
I just learned about the score choice thing, but I know some schools don't allow it. A guidance counselor told me that if I just send 1 score, colleges will have no way of knowing, but I'm not sure.
I also got a 750 on the math II, by the way.
Will improving my SAT math score raise my chances, and is it worth taking the whole test again?

If you believe you can become part of the prestigious 2400 club (which you probably can) then yes! A 750 on math is already phenomenal, so taking the test again is going to be like icing on the cake(which is always nice…)

Just a warning that if you’re looking at some of the top schools they might look down upon you for retaking it with a 2350. They might look at you as a perfectionist who just wasn’t satisfied with a 2350 and needed to get a 2400. At a lot of schools, once you get to a certain point the test scores become irrelevant and they’ll focus on other parts of your application.
So to answer your question, if you have done well in all your math classes (A’s in ap calc, etc.), taken the math II and done well, then I don’t think a 750 on the math section will prevent you from getting into a college.

Get an 800 in SAT II Math II. Schools know that anyone who gets a 750 could get an 800 on another day/another test.

I agree with @Woandering … they know that there is no difference between a 750 and 800… simply because one day you’ll make a mistake… the next time you wont. So no… do not retake it.
