Should I Retake the SATs?

I got my SAT results back, and overall, I did pretty well–except for the math section.

Writing-- 620
Reading Comprehension-- 570
Math-- 420 :frowning:

I want to go into an English major, but I also want to bump up my math score. I’ve never been a great math student, but I’m wondering if retaking the SATs would be worth it. Should I?

Yes, you should retake–it would also be a good idea to try to bump your CR score into the 600’s if you’re pursuing an English major. It might also be prudent to consider the ACT; research the differences between both tests and see if the ACT appeals to you.
