I took the ACT last Saturday, which is my third time as a sophomore. The first, being the 7th grade Talent Search, probably doesn't count. I took it once in freshmen year and got a 26. My score for this last test is probably not that great at all, so I was wondering if I should cancel the scores sent to the four schools I chose. What do you guys think?

I just thought taking it early as a trial test is advantageous, but apparently college frowned down upon you if you take it more than 3 times... Can someone verify this? Thanks!

Though some people believe you should not keep taking the test, I have heard first hand from an Ivy League coach on this issue. He said to take it as many times as you can as long as you keep improving!

First off, you are a sophomore, why are you sending scores to colleges now? I know it’s free if you send them now, but have you thought about Score choice? Some colleges don’t require you sending all scores, So you can pick and choose which date you want to send in. If you don’t think you did well on Saturday then it is best to cancel and wait. Seventh-grade ACT does not count.
