I started the school newspaper at my high school, and worked closely with one teacher throughout this process. She's known me from grade 9 up until now, and has written reference letters for me for other applications, and has always supported me.

The two academic references I am getting are strong, however one of the teachers does not really know me outside of the classroom. Thus I expect she will be writing a letter mostly about my attributes as a student.

Should I send a supplemental reference from the teacher who I have worked with for my school newspaper? I know universities usually recommend supplemental references for engineering/science students who've done research with a prof., but my situation's a bit different.

Ideas?
