Should I spend $28 to take Oct Sat subject tests

I'm majoring in biomedical engineering or mechanical engineering. I signed up to retake the sat in October but now I'm thinking I probably should have taken the sat II by now.
I'm applying to:
Stony brook
Case western reserve
Tcnj
NJIT
University of Alabama
And possibly:
George Mason, va tech, and umd

I have no idea if it would be better to apply EA or not. I'm just hoping for big merit scholarships.

I'm not happy with my sat scores because math is lower than reading and I'm actually way better at math.

Would sat II scores be necessary?
I would take math II, bio, and I'm not sure what else maybe French.

Does a single one of your target colleges even REQUIRE SAT2s? You should check, no?

Good question…
No. Case western says send them if you think they strengthen your app. So I guess that answers my question then.

Alabama does not require SAT subject tests.

Subject tests typically require a good amount of preparation so unless you are prepared to spend that time right now (on top of applications, etc). and unless your colleges either require them or “highly recommend” them, I would not take those tests on at this late date.

Okay thanks guys. I won’t take them.
