should i submit sat 2 scores

i got a 640 on the literature subject test and am wondering if i should submit it. I’m worried that since I have a 680 Sat verbal score my subject test score looks bad.
for reference I am applying to

Willamette University
Uni of Puget Sound
College of Wooster
Earlham College
Miami University OH
Ohio Wesleyan Uni
Westmont College
University of Redlands

Earlham and Wooster are test-optional. If your GPA is good with challenging courses, and your resume is solid, and you have some service history, plus you wrote a good essay… you will be fine without submitting it.

I dont know the others as well.
But, the way to approach it, is to look up the “at a glance” numbers for each school who REQUIRES test scores. If your SAT 2 is within their range, send it.

Have you visited Earlham and Wooster? They both have distinct personalities and they are not everyone’s cup of tea, so to speak. But… if you are a good fit for them, I think those are two very, very fine schools. I am particularly impressed by Earlham. I have had the occasion to have a number experiences with the school and the students over the last few years and… the more I have learned about Earlham, the more impressed I have become. If you are a good fit for Earlham (and, again, I don’t know if everyone is…) I hope you take a serious look. They are doing some super innovative things in higher education, and the kids I have met from there have been interesting, creative, curious, and really engaging kids, doing some absolutely brilliant and downright fascinating things.

Best of luck in finalizing your apps and making your choice!

Nope. No need to submit it. None of those schools require it and your 680 is stronger.

What was your other SAT 2 score? Many schools want SAT 2 scores if you are home schooled but not otherwise.
