Should I switch from SAT to ACT?

Hi. I took the October SAT and received a score of 1490 (equivalent to 33 ACT). I just retook the SAT today. It was a disaster, and even with a superscore, I doubt I improved. I really don’t want to take the SAT another time, so my question now is should I switch and take the ACT or be content with my score and focus on other things like ECs and SAT subject tests? I’ve never done any ACT Prep. Most of my reach and match schools have a 75th percentile ACT of 34. I understand 1490 is a decent score, but I’m Asian, so I feel like my score needs to be higher. Thanks for reading. I would really appreciate some advice.

Same here. Never seen questions with such complex wording! (PS I took June and Nove SAT and scored 1430 and 1480 and I have never seen such difficult reading section!)

If I were you and if practicing ACT does not hurt the school work, I will try the ACT… Why not take a Sunday morning and do a practice test to see how you do.

Subject tests would be a better investment of your time and money at this point.
