We're in the process of making our schedules for next year. I'll be a senior, and I plan to take 5 AP classes. I can take either
AP Calc BC, AP Lit, AP Chem, AP Stats, and AP Microeconomics
or
AP Calc BC, AP Lit, AP Chem, AP Stats, and AP Physics
The only difference between those 2 schedules is one has AP Microeconomics, one has AP Physics
I feel like the course load for the first one will be easier, but I want to take Physics because I plan to be a biomedical engineer. Yet I have a bad feeling about taking AP Chem and AP Physics at the same time (AP Calc BC I should be able to handle fine cuz I like Math). Those 2 are notorious for their difficulty.
Please on't make me take out Chem though, cuz I love Chem :P
Thoughts?

I think it depends on if you mean AP Physics B or AP Physics C. From what I’ve heard from other people taking AP Chem with AP Physics isn’t that bad (but don’t take my word for it because I haven’t taken either class yet).

Don’t you need calculus for physics? I suggest you take calc BC and chem, and the following year physics.

Chemistry in itself is very difficult, and with physics alongside it , you will be stuck behind your desk for the rest of the year. Its your senior year and while I understand that you have ambitions, take it light. The first set of APs would be the best in my opinion. Perhaps do a little light physics study on the side later in the senior year.
