Should I take Chemistry or PreCalculus as a Dual Enrolled student? Because I never took them in HS.

I am a HS Senior. The school pays for my tuition at Prince George's Community College. I took two courses this Fall: Applied Calculus and 2D Design, 3 credit each. And it was no fun, along with my 3 AP courses. I still manage to get a good grade on all my courses but it was time consuming.

So, I plan to continue taking college courses at PGCC for the Spring but plan to take one course only rather than two. I want to take ether Chemistry (4credits) or Pre Calculus (5 credits). I've never taken them in high school, and colleges will notice that. So I have to take them at PGCC so that I meet the course requirements for 4 year colleges.

It is preferably to take them both but again, I do not want overload myself again. I want to dedicated some time for my AP courses.

And I'm applying as Electrical Engineering major so I need both of them. But which one is more important to take over the other?

Taking Calc indicates that you’ve mastered pre-calc.

Agreed; it’s pointless for you to take pre-calc.

So are you saying that I don’t need Pre Cal for Cal I? I took Applied Cal (straight from College Algebra) which is not the same as Cal I.
