Should I take geometry online during my sophmore year?

I’m an early college high school student so my choices of classes are very limited. My school designates what I will be taking that entire year and I am currently in algebra II (I’ve only taken Algebra I freshman year and have not yet taken geometry). I am thinking about taking an online geometry course this year, while I’m in algebra II. My only other choice would be to take geometry my junior year and then a high school course of Pre-Cal and a course od calculus at the college. What should I do?

Also I wouldn’t be able to join clubs like Mu Alpha Theta without having done or being enrolled in algebra I, geometry, and algebra II. If anyone knows if I would be eligable for the club if I was enrolled in both geometry online and algebra II at the same time, I would appreciate the feedback. Thank you.

I think you should wait until you’re able to take geometry as an actual class(given the teacher who teaches can teach well). I’m in geometry right now, and although the subject were touching upon is fairly easy(beginning of the year/intro things), later on down the road the content becomes more difficult to comprehend. Without a teacher who teaches well, you may not fully grasp the problems presented to you. I’m sure if your driven enough, you could pull it off though!

Thank you for the imput.
