Hi, this is my first post and I hope I am posting it in the right forum.

I am applying to universities that only require two SAT subject tests but I took Literature as my third subject test anyway. I did so because I'm Asian and hopefully taking Literature will give me an edge over my peers. I took Literature in December and did not do so well at it - I think it's because I didn't have enough practice.

Coincidentally (or because I'm just bad at Literature in general) my Critical Reading is the weakest score among the three sections on SAT I. I still have a shot in January - which one is more worth taking? Both in terms of how important it is to college and its difficulty? I am more inclined to taking Literature because I feel that I could improve on my time management (I missed one whole passage last time) and as well it only lasts for an hour - dunno if it weighs a lot less as a third subject though (to schools that only require two; my other two subjects are Math II and Physics)

I'm currently at 620 for CR and 630 for Literature
am applying to Dartmouth and therefore my writing score wouldn't help too much I guess... I think my other scores are quite decent so it really comes down to CR or Literature. Any help would be appreciated - thanks a lot guys! :)
