Should I take SAT again?

First try: 2180; Wr: 790, Math: 750, CR: 640
Second try: 2010; Wr: 760, Math: 670, CR: 580

Should I try again? I want to aim to get in the 2250-2300 range. I'm applying to mainly UCs but maybe one or two Ivys. Is it possible to significantly raise score on third try? If so, how long should I take to study (I'm only in my junior year of high school) and do you have any study methods that have worked?

Yeah I am retesting as well. WHAT WAS UP WITH THIS CURVE? I assume the newest one you had was from this december test. I thought my math and verbal would go up 100 points, but my math stayed at 690 and my reading only improved to a 630 from a 580

Something was ****ed up with this test !

I would recommend taking it once more. Although your scores are not bad, the fact that your score for each section dropped than your previous one will not affect you positively. You need to show improvement:) Good luck! I am also planning to take it once more.

It totally depends on you and your time. If you’ll be able to spare some time to study for the next SAT, and money is not an issue, then go for it. Otherwise you shouldn’t worry since your SAT scores are already quite decent.
