<p>I got an 800 on both Math 2 and US History, but a 790 on Chemistry. Is it worth taking Chemistry again for the 800 or should I stop?</p>

<p>I don't know how, I studied Barron's for both. I am in AP Chem and Calculus. A+ in both.</p>

<p>my brother got 790 on chem and got into Harvard. he got a 1600 on SAT also.</p>
<p>What were his extracurriculars, academics, etc.?</p>

<p>I didn't study very much. A little review the few nights before. 3 practice tests. (2 Barron's, 1 College Board)</p>

<p>Thank god. I know this might be different for every person but I think that statement is a godsend for people who study with barrons. Seeing as though people miss about 20 questions (65~750-780 for barrons) and freak out..</p>

Math 2 was especially so. I could barely crack 700 on barron's practice tests and was about to give up. But then I took the CB practice test and got a 780. I got an 800 on the real thing.</p>
<p>No of course not...concentrate on other things than worrying about a 790. I got a 760 in Chem and got into MIT so relax.</p>
<p>with 800 comes a lot of bragging right though lol...</p>
<p>You should definitely retake it, you need at least a 850 otherwise you won't even get into community college.</p>

I say anywhere from 900 to infinity might get you into clown school but then again, those sorts of things are just crapshoots anyway.</p>

<p>790 is probably ok for MIT and they might think you are an arrogant perfectionist (although my feelings are with you) and it could hurt you in the application process if you retake a 790. But I'm in a similar situation with SAT History and I might retake it after I get into college, just for bragging rights</p>
