<p>I heard that at a lot of schools that the exam doesn't provide any credit. It would be a damn waste of $90 and 2 hours of my life if I wasn't getting anything out of it.</p>
<p>Research the schools you are applying to thoroughly and send an e-mail if you need to.</p>

<p>Well you won’t get the same credit as BC but the way I understand it is you get the first half of the course. It will vary by college though.</p>
<p>If you are planning to take BC next year, you will also receive AB sub-score.</p>
<p>It depends on the college, and unless you were accepted early and have already decided on a college, you don’t yet know where you will be attending…so, sign up for the test. You can always skip it if your chosen college does not offer credit (and yes, be out $90.)</p>
<p>btw: instead of course credit for graduation, some colleges may accept the AP test as fulfillment of a distribution/GE requirement, in this case math, enabling you to take something else instead.</p>
