Should I take the AP Macro/Microeconomics exam?

I've managed to maintain a high B in the class, but we had a midterm that was an old microeconomics AP test. I didn't do too well (C- with a curve).

I need a 3 or higher to receive semester credit hours at the college I'll be attending this fall, and I think I would probably be able to get that due to the curve on the AP. However, I'm majoring in neuroscience/pre-med and won't need to take any higher level economics courses or anything.

Is there any benefit at all to me taking it, when I won't even be needing economics in college? Or should my parents save their money?

Depending on your college, any credit units it gives may improve your class standing, which may improve your registration priority. Or not.

I already get priority registration for being in honors.

Bump
