I took the SAT for my first time in my junior year and scored a 2210;
770 math
730 reading
710 writing (8 on the essay)
I am trying to get into Berkeley for EECS or maybe Stanford/ an Ivy league and I was wondering if I got a higher score it would make any difference. Thanks.

At this point, I don’t think that your SAT score would make any difference. It would be better to focus on other parts of your application.

For most schools, that is a great score. For top schools, that is below the 75%. Also your CR+M is right at 1500. Having higher score would help. But I agree that bringing up GPA (if below 3.8) would be as, or more, important.
