Should I Take the SAT the 3rd time?

Hello everyone! Thanks for reading my post :slight_smile:

So I have taken the SAT 2 times, both in junior year. One was in October 2015 and the other was December 2015.
I was wondering if I should take the SAT the 3rd time, primarily because my friends keep telling me that the colleges will average my scores instead of superscoring them.
My scores are as follows:
October: CR 680 M 800 W 600 Essay 8
December: CR 620 M800 W 620 Essay 8
January 2016: ???

I already signed up a week ago for the 3rd time after searching the web and found that 3 was the maximum times I should take it.
What should I do ? Thanks for responding.

I say go for it. You already paid the money, plus, you can improve your scores a ton. If you work hard enough, you could break 700 in both CR and writing. Don’t give up! Work hard, and that 2200 will be a piece of cake. You just have to know how to play the game, and play it correctly.

Take it a third time and focus exclusively on CR/writing.

You can always not submit the score of you really don’t like it and you already paid for it. Most colleges I know superscore or consider the highest total. I have not heard of any school averaging it

Go for it, I know you can increase that writing score especially that essay.

No, they don’t average, but some superscore.

Not saying it doesn’t happen, but I haven’t heard of any colleges that average scores. Most don’t even require you to submit all SAT scores, anyway. Go for it!
