Hi Everyone,
I took the SAT for the first time in march, and I signed up to take it this Saturday a while ago. The only thing is that I haven't been able to prepare as much as would have liked due to other commitments and an increased amount of class work/ finals. I'm currently a junior. Either way, I am planning on taking it in October of 2014 after working on it through the summer. I am currently bogged down with a lot of studying and work, and I would just like to know if it is worth taking this Saturday and later in October or if I should just take it in October. I know that most of the colleges I will apply to have score choice, but I don't know if all of them will. I don't have a final list as of yet though I do want to put myself in the best possible position if I end up applying to a non-score choice school that happens to be very selective. Given this circumstance, does taking the SAT two vs three times make any noticeable difference? What should I do?
Thanks!

You may check with ETS if you can re-schedule your test without losing money. Otherwise, you probably should good ahead to give it another try. One usually get slightly better at the second attempt for a better test center experience and more familiar with the test format even without further practice. It is not an ideal situation though. There is little difference between 2 or 3 attempts.

I am in a similiar situation. Haven’t really had time to prepare since the March one because of sports, APs, ACt, prom and so much other stuff. I’m still going to take it anyways though.
