I'm starting my sophomore year of college and I'm wondering if I should have transferred. In my state there are two main state schools that basically everyone goes to. One is in my hometown, and then the one I'm actually attending is about 2 hours away. Both schools are essentially the same academically just in different cities. I really didn't enjoy my freshman year, I was extremely depressed and lonely during the first semester because I'm an introvert and am really bad at talking to other people, and all of my high school friends went to the other school. I only made two or three friends despite joining multiple clubs. I never really talked to anyone on my floor because they were all already in cliques. I also have many health problems such as chron's disease and a heart condition where I sometimes have to go to the hospital.Basically I'm wondering if I should transfer to the other school in my hometown at semester. My friends from high school are renting a house and I could easily live with them (is that a good idea in itself?). The health problems are troublesome because when they happen I would like my family to actually be there. My issue is I never really wanted to go to the college in my hometown, I actually wanted nothing more then to get out of the state. However, financially I can't afford it. So with the health problems and my lack of enthusiasm on this school should I transfer?
