I've already applied to two uni's as a spring 09 transfer and I'm definitely admitted to one. I'm an accounting and history major, minor in psych. I don't know if it is worth transferring for me because this will be my 4th transfer... yes 4th. I went to a 3rd tier uni in '04 for one yr, then I went to cc for 2 years, now I am at a 4th tier uni and this is my third semester here. I absolutely hate this school w/ a passion. The campus is dirty, the school is huge (its a state school), and the business program is not really that great. I'm not from TX and I didn't do any research on the schools when I transferred. I want to transfer bc I still have two years till I grad and both of the uni's I've applied to have better business programs. Plus where ever I transfer to, I'm definitely getting my Master's from there w/ a fast track program. One of the uni's is ranked 108 nationally and the other is a 3rd tier uni, but the business program is ranked #119. I've visited both campuses and I like them a lot. I just don't know if transferring so many times will look bad when I apply to grad school, possibly law school. So is it even worth going thru the trouble of transferring? Plus I'm losing credits. I'm stuck in such a dilemma.. I'm not sure which route to take.

anyone??? thanks!

You can stay where you are and finish there in two years.

Or, you can transfer to a place that you like better, and where you believe you will be happier, and finish there in two years. Plus you will enter a fast-track Master's program that will end in another year or so.

I suggest that you look on it as "finally finding the best fit". Don't fret the loss of credits. Start packing your bags now.

Wishing you all the best!
