I keep telling people I am going to Penn State UP. But I got off the waitlist at Udel, and I don't feel like I can turn it down. I am so stressed out and I keep thinking what if I don't like PSU? I plan on doing business and I know PSU has a better program, but I can't give up on Udel for some reason.

I know if I do change I will get bad housing at Delaware. Should I visit for a day at the business school? I feel like it may be awkward if they're only showing me around. I don't know what to do!

Depending upon where you live, it might be worth your time to visit UDEL. Also, consider which school has the strongest program in your field(s) of interest. Financial aid could be a deciding factor, too. Whatever you decide, don't look back. This is all part of life's experiences, in my opinion. We have to make difficult choices sometimes. Best of luck to you. I'm sure other students out there are in similar situations.

Visit already....you won't go wrong with either school.
It's becoming quite obvious you want to go from your postings over the last month between the waitlist thread and now having to decide. Go give it a last look then make a decision and don't look back!! It's up to you to make your own college experience...there is no magic formula.
You'll turn out just fine at either institution. Good Luck!

Visit! It'd be horrible to go to Penn State and have all these doubts of "well, what if UD really had been the best for me?" and so on. Penn State's business school may have a better reputation, but UD's is really nothing to sneeze at either. Go, get a feel for the campus and the people, then make your decision.

Watch out for bad housing. My friend's son was stuck in a triple (off waitlist) and had a rough time (odd man out - three can be tough).
I seem to remember that you have visited both campuses but maybe I'm wrong. You should check out the business schools carefully. PSU has an impressive new building with a trading room. The ranking for Smeal ia about 18 in USNews and 32 in Business Week. I didn't see UDEL on the BW top 60 list. Alumni network for PSU is also very strong. Overall, I think PSU is better for business, but it's only good for you if you feel it's a good fit. Not sure about the social environment, but they may be similar (both big publics). It seems there might be something about PSU that might be bothering you though... Good luck. I really think you would be happy at either school.
