Should I wait until January deadlines or not??

So right now I’m finished with all my applications, essays and all. But what I’m wondering is if I should submit them November 1st and receive all of those extra benefits or submit them as the January deadlines. One could someone tell me the exact benefits from doing the November 1st deadlines also? I’m a little bit confused on that. But the reason why I’m debating this is because my GPA as of now is a 3.0 from a lackluster sophomore year but this year im taking all honors classes and I’m currently holding all A’s with a B in Calc 1. Now if I keep this GPA for my 1st semester then add it to my current GPA it will legit go up to a 3.4 ish which in my eyes is waaaaaay better than a 3.0. So basically what do you guys think? and can you help me out with my delima? Thanks in advanced

What schools?

Getting those first semester grades logged in is the main reason students wait rather than take advantage of an earlier answer. As @JPGator98 asked, knowing the schools would help as admissions percentages can be different for EA versus regular decision, and you may have a good chance, or not, in different cycles depending on the school.

For you, the benefit of waiting to apply with great grades for this semester outweigh the slight benefits of applying early.

Hold off and submit reg decision. Best of luck to you in your classes this semester
