Should I write the Jan 2016 SAT-1 or the SAT Subject Tests?

I’m an Indian student in grade 12(senior year) who plans to attend uni in India and then transfer to an american college after about a year.To apply to Indian colleges I need to write subject tests in Physics ,Chemistry and Math level 2 for which I have time until July 2016.
I wrote SAT-1 a few months ago and scored 1980.I want to improve on that score but heard that the new(March 2016) SAT -1 is harder than the current one so I think I might want to write the current SAT.
Should I take the current SAT-1 and write the subject tests later,or write the subject tests in Jan and the new SAT-1 later next year ?

I think you should do the current SAT 1 and do subject tests later. The subject tests will never change but you only have a limited opportunity to take the current SAT.

Oh,sorry about that, but I forgot to mention that most Indian universities don’t take your SAT-1 score into account, only the subject tests ,which is why I’m confused about whether I should spend time this month now studying to get 800s on the 3 subject tests I mentioned and give myself the best chances of getting to an indian uni or write the SAT-1 instead and ensure an easier transition into US colleges later. Also,I can’t attend the march sat exams because of the cbse board exams.Taking that into account, should I or should I not write SAT-1 next month
