Shuttle from Washington DC Metro -> Ithaca...What was it called again?

Hey, last year I stumbled upon a website that provided a special shuttle service for Cornell students travelling to Ithaca, from Washington DC.

Does anybody have info on this? I'm in Washington DC for the last few days of summer and all plane tickets are sold out. (except for a few economy seats in the $2000s)

2k for a bus?! o_O

There is a bus that runs between Cornell and Montgomery Mall in Bethesda, but it only operates during Cornell's breaks. There is no bus service at the beginning or the end of the school year.

The web site is www.cbbus.com

In your situation, the least-worst choice may be to take an Amtrak to New York City and a bus from there to Ithaca. It will take you all day but should only cost a couple of hundred dollars.

Have you checked out the flights from Baltimore-Washington International (BWI)? It's pretty convenient to Washington and may be a better bet than Reagan or National.

I think expedia.com still has flights from BWI to ithaca for around $280.

What airline charges $2000 for a flight?

Flying to Sydney (Australia) from Cleveland roundtrip was slightly over $2000, but that was four flights.

hey, thanks a lot! that was exactly what I was looking for.

And last year, I only paid $98 bucks for a flight from DC to Ithaca. This time, American Airways is charging $1000 on orbitz.com
