I just found out I will be in Siegfried Hall this fall. Can anybody provide some kind of information not given on the website (room sizes, social life, camaraderie, traditions, dorm-specific policies) about Siegfried? Also, I'm in a quad. How good is Siegfried at fitting 4 guys comfortably? Thanks.

Siegfried is one of the newer halls so the rooms are a bit bigger and you will have air conditioning. I love the atmosphere and the guys in Siegfried (and their chapel is one of my favorites) and I also am a big fan of the rector over there, great guy! I have heard of Fr. John pulling the fire alarm every now and again if he thinks parietals are being broken, but ask around as that may just be a rumor. Since it is a newer hall, the quad should be pretty nice...two side rooms which are smaller and a common room that is the size of a standard double most likely. Hope that helps.

My cousin lived in Siegfried and loved it. He also still keeps in contact with Father John. His dorm was average sized I guess and I think the walls were just bare bricks if I remember correctly.

My son is in Siegfried and will be there for this, his senior year, as well. He loves it. Father John is one of the best rectors on campus and when our family needed him he was completely there for us and our son. Because of Father John I think you pulled an excellent dorm assignment.

Siegfried's a good dorm. It used to be a girls dorm, so the closets are really big. Also, it's pretty new and the rooms are bigger than the ones in a lot of the older dorms. Fr. John is a great guy. You'll have an awesome four years!
