Siemens AP Award

The Siemens AP Awards are awarded to the top male and female students in each of the 50 states, who have earned the greatest number of scores of 5 on the AP exams listed below.

Biology
Calculus BC
Chemistry
Computer AB
Environmental Science
Physics C: Mechanics
Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism
Statistics

I have 5s on 5 of these. Do you think it's enough for Maryland male?

No. Maryland is a pretty competitive state. My guess is that someone has all of those passed with 5's.

Knowing CC as well, some people on these forums probably knew about the Siemens award and have been vying for it for years.

I always thought that u have to take all 8 of the tests and whoever (top guy and girl) makes the highest number of 5s would get the award. Even if thats not true I think the person that would win usually have all 5s on the 8 test plus some other non science/math down....just my opinion

Just go over to the HYPSM threads and you'll see people knocking down 15-5's on AP's. I'm sure one of those people have knocked off those 8.

Environmental Science is on there? LOL
I got a 5 and I self-studied for maybe 2 hours the night before the test

wow you're a genius?
i did the same thing for physics c e&m

blah123, non-math/science doesnt count for this award

but yeah, you guys are probably right
