Hello CC,
So this year I took the AP Calc BC, AP Bio, and AP Physics Mech exams. I got a 5 on Calc and 4s on the other two tests. The year before I took AP Stat and got a 5 on it.

I'm interested in winning the Siemen's scholarship, which basically awards the top male and female in the state with the most number of 5s on the math and science APs (AP Physics B and AP Calc AB don't count). There's 8 total exams. I live in a state where it isn't really competitive (I know the guy and girl last year who won last year and they got 6 and 5 exams with fives.). I know in California, the winners have to get like 100% on 8 exams, so I'm kinda lucky.

I only have 2 5's right now, so I was interested in self-studying and retaking the AP Physics (both exams this year, retake Mech and first-time-take E&M). I'll also be taking AP Chem, Environmental Science... So then I would end up with 6 exams with 5's... if I do well.

I just have questions about the retaking:

Can you cancel the scores on your score report ANY time during the year? I know there's a June 15 deadline for something that cancels your scores for THAT year, but I'm not sure if you could cancel scores anytime.

With the Siemen's scholarship, or just the AP Scholar awards in general, would they know if you canceled and retook the exam, and would that affect my winning the award?

THANK YOU SO MUCH CC!!!!! Responses are much appreciated :)
